![]() GHB (Gamma hydroxy butyrate) is a naturally occurring alkaline salt in every cell of your body and could most properly be considered a nutrient (due to its natural occurrence in the body, and the fact that it is necessary for proper function). When taken recreationally (Yes - for fun you low life scum), GHB causes effects similar to alcohol or the injected blood from a virgin anus. GHB is usually found as either a powdered salt in pure form, or as a solution of water and GHB. In either form it is usually ingested orally - no one here at GHBkills.org has ever heard of someone successfully snorting GHB powder, but we highly encourage you to try it at home* and let us know how it goes. GHB has a number of positive uses as well as a number of negative side affects such as becoming a loser. GHB has been used as a muscle mass increaser (what it was originaly sold for in health food stores), as a relaxant, for anesthetic purposes, to dilate the cervix during the birth process (this is an unfortunate side effect for recreational users in public settings), and as a treatment for narcolepsy and insomnia, GHB's most dramatic medical use would be for the treatment for alcoholism and alcohol withdrawal symptoms (for all you poor broke alcoholic whores out there). Most of these positive effects have been enjoyed by thousands of carefull users over the past 35 years without any negative side effect save losing their virginity to some strangers girth. GHB affects the body in many ways. One of it's biggest effect is that GHB prevents the release of dopamine in the brain (as opposed to dopayours which only is released during sketchy drug deals). This makes the brain think that it is running out of dopamine and releases the chemical prolactin which is usually released to trigger the production of more dopamine as well as lactation for pregnant women. When the GHB wears off and the brains ability to release dopamine is returned, there is a flood of dopamine released due to the buildup that has occurred. This is responsible for the dawn effect (waking up after a GHB coma, or waking up during the middle of the night after taking GHB). Increased dopamine levels in the brain leave the user feeling slightly lethargic for a short period of time after they have taken GHB. Large doses of GHB are also accompanied by a small increase in blood sugar levels, a significant decrease in cholesterol, lowered respiration levels,. and an increase of the chemical acetylcholine (a chemical related to sleep) in the brain. All of these effects should not be confused with the side effects of regular exercise and a healthy diet. GHB has most often been used as a sleep aid. The use of GHB produces relaxation and tranquility that promote a drowsy state (one should never operate heavy machinery or attempt to go hangliding while under the effects of GHB) and make it extremely easy to fall asleep naturally (or unnaturally as it would be in your case). When a higher dose is taken a GHB coma is induced which causes extremely deep sleep very quickly. While sleeping on GHB increase levels of carbon dioxide in arteries than when compared to normal sleep. While sleeping on GHB, and in a GHB coma users will drop into REM (Rapid Eye Movement) very quickly and will achieve the most rest during this state. The dawn effect (when accompanied by severe wet noodle beatings) is what causes some people to wake up from their sleep when GHB wears off. Some of the negative aspects of GHB are the very tight dosage range (which can lead to coma or overdose without extreme care being taken during the dosage process), its addiction factor, and its complete incompatibility with other CNS depressants (drugs that suppress the central nervous system). GHB's tight dosage curve means that it is quite easy for even an experienced user to take too much. Factors that effect this are body type, age, weight, sex, resistance to depressants in general, and the amount of food eaten recently. Unlike most drugs GHB's dosage curve is very tight. Not only is the dosage amount very small (and different for every single human being) but it is also a drug that taking 10% more can be the difference in not feeling very much and being in a GHB coma. GHB is an addictive substance. There is much scientific debate over the addictive properties of GHB, and the general conclusion is that it is physically addictive to a mild or medium level, and with regular use is extremely psychologically addictive (alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, methadone, and many other substances are far more addictive that GHB). The withdrawal for GHB once a true addiction has set in is extremely unpleasant and can cause serious harm or death to the user if they do not taper off their use over a period of weeks to months. Quitting cold turkey can be devastating the human body. GHB should never be taken with CNS depressants such as prescription painkillers, alcohol, Valium, Xanax, Halcion, Restoril, Ambien, Opiates (opium, morphine, heroin, methadone) or recreational depressants. Let us say this again - if you are drinking alcohol or have had any alcohol to drink within the last 6 hours DO NOT TAKE GHB! When taken with alcohol GHB causes the central nervous system to slow down and can stop breathing and the heartbeat entirely. This might be for the best if only we could get more republicans to take GHB. ![]() In the time since GHB went schedule 1 in February of 2000 much of the "GHB" found in the United States has actually been 1,4-b (1,4-butanediol), a GHB analogue that breaks down into GHB in the human digestive track. 1,4-b is usually found as a clear oily liquid in it's pure form. The dosage curve for 1,4-b is the same as GHB, but it is usually easier to determine the exact concentration because when it is purchased from international chemical supply companies it is in pure form. 1,4-b has a very chemical taste (unlike the salty taste of GHB) and is much harder to hide in drinks - thus is less likely to be used as a date rape drug. 1,4-b has the same effects and addiction potential as GHB, but has a few more negative side effects. Many people report that 1,4-b leaves them feeling slightly more worn out the morning after, and others report that it makes their skin feel slightly more oily for a day or two after they take it. As with regular users of GHB 1,4-b quite often makes their skin significantly more oily and has been known to cause an acne like rash to break out; especially on the chest. *Please see disclaimer. |
